"Holy fucking shit. Pete Wisdom is getting married. Pete fucking Wisdom.

"How is that possible? Seriously-- no one is that desperate, right? Well, apparently someone is but still...

"Okay, okay. I might be able to grudgingly admit that he's not a totally awful human being. (Not all the time, anyway.) And I suppose he must have something of a moral compass under all that would be British wit that rankles-- last word of the day before I left!-- of bitterness otherwise he wouldn't be at MI:13.

"So good on him, I guess.

"God, though, I thought hell would freeze over before Wisdom made a commitment to anything or anyone.

"Wait. We are in the land of Ley Lines, right? If Hell was going to freeze over, it'd probably do it here.

"Well, whatever. Won't be my issue soon enough, right?

"Know what will be an issue, though? If I can't get Whitman out of my head by the time I hit Stateside again. Seriously, it is bloody ridiculous. (Ugh! Wisdom is getting laid and I'm not-- where is the justice?)
