OFFICIAL NOTICE
I have been assigned to act as S.H.I.D.L.D. liaison to the West Coast Avengers team until another agent with suitable qualifications can be assigned for the time being. This is in addition to the New York Avengers, so I'll be keeping to the East Coast unless something comes up.

I don't know how long this will last but, in the meantime, if anyone on the West Coast has need of S.H.I.E.L.D. assistance or resources, don't hesitate to contact me. And let me know if you have any questions/comments/concerns/etc.

I understand if you don't feel comfortable or are too busy-- you do have a full time job already-- but with cloning not a viable option, I just can't be on both coasts at once. (Hopefully this will just be a temporary assignment, anyway.) But think on it and let me know. Thanks.

Fuck my life. Dugan can kiss my ass. First he shuts me out of the Fury investigation and now I'm not allowed to work on the traitorous agent who killed 19 thing, either! Well, actually, it was mostly Hill pushing me out but he let her! And, okay, he was kind of overwhelmed by everything-- Fury's job is ridiculous.

Whatever. I don't care! I'm angry, damn it! I want to know what the hell is going on. Why did my friend who was investigating the Fury case get killed? Was it related? How did that agent ever get vetted by S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Fuck. We need to clean house. Like yesterday. And here I am with both Avengers teams under my watch, no Fury and not a clue about what's really going on. Oh but you can bet I'm gonna find out. Somehow. And then I'm gonna make those bastards who took out 19 pay. Hard.

Not for the reasons S.H.I.E.L.D. seems convinced of, anyway.

Fury's always been straight with me, that much I know. And I just can't believe-- I won't believe this.

It's just not possible. I hope.

For those who are interested, there's leftover Halloween candy in the kitchen. Take as little or much as you like. Anything left at the end of next week will get tossed, though-- I don't want us attracting ants like I did in my apartment last year.

Also, a number of pictures of people and pets in Avengers Halloween costumes have showed up in the mail the last few days, so I stuck a few on the bulletin board. Baby Hulk! Kindergarten Thor with Inflatable Hammer! Crocodile Iron Man! The rest are in a manila envelope on the desk below for anyone interested. Be warned, though-- a few are, um... on the risqué side of things. Or just gross.

On the business side of things, I'd like to evaluate everyone's hand to hand and weapons skills over the next few weeks. S.H.I.E.L.D. wants us to be prepared in case something affects our abilities/powers again.

I'm not expecting the evals to take more than 2-3 hours, so it'd be great if everyone could schedule a 3 hour block with me at their earliest convenience. And, should I be called out to join Mockingbird, either Cap or someone from S.H.I.E.L.D. will take over.

And, regardless, I'll need you to evaluate me-- with Jan if you'd like, since she is your second-in-command, or another S.H.I.E.L.D. agent if you prefer a more neutral party.

Anyway, just let me know what you'd like. I really don't want to step on any toes here; I just want to know where the team's at. And, if anyone isn't up to par, help get them there.

Hi. I'm Jessica Drew, and apparently Nineteen isn't the only one that pissed Fury off because I'm going to be your new temporary I really fucking hope S.H.I.E.L.D. liaison. I've met a few of you before, but I wanted to introduce myself all the same.

I've only just been assigned, so I'm going to work on getting organized in the next few days. You might see me around getting the lay of the land or something and I'll probably be contacting you in a more official capacity soon.
